Days ago, news came from Zhejiang Department of Education that the team guided by Professor Zhang Xuechang won Zhejiang Teaching Achievement Award 2016 for their project “Talent training mode with the core of 4P and 4C for mechanical engineering majors of independent colleges”. According to them, 4P refers to capability, capability, design capability and manufacturing capability, and 4C refers to curriculum practice, professional practice, scientific research practice and industrial practice. Over the past four years, there has been an enormous increase in pro and competition index and students’ satisfaction index.

This talent training mode was given high credit by Wuhan University, Beijing Institute of Printing, Jiangnan University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Zhejiang University, South China University of Technology. Up to now, more than 40 colleges and universities have communicated ideas with the team of Professor Zhang Xuechang.
