On the evening of December 20, 2016, the New Year Chorus Concert was held at Poly Plaza, Ningbo Cultural Square, which was sponsored by Ningbo Culture, Broadcasting and Press Publication Bureau, Ningbo Culture Center and Ningbo Chorus Association. NIT’s choir, Voice, was invited to attend the concert with the city’s another three outstanding choirs to say farewell to the fruitful 2016 and celebrate the arrival of 2017 with more than a thousand spectators.

In the concert, NIT choir came first to sing “Happy New Year”, “Shosholoza”, “Farewell to Cambridge” and “Flowers” and many other classic songs with excellent singing skills and varied choral styles. They sent their New Year wishes to the people of the city by their beautiful voices.
In 2016, it was a year of richness and harvest for the Voice choir. The choir took part in the 3rd Choral Festival of Zhejiang Province, which was hosted by the Zhejiang Culture Department in October, and won the first prize in the non-professional group as the A-level choir.
