On the afternoon of March 3rd, 2017, the annual meeting was held at Jin Zongfa Center of Law, NIT. President Jin Weiliang gave a report surrounding the theme of “seizing the opportunity” and “speeding up transformation”. He reviewed the work in 2016 and gave a detailed analysis of the existing problems, which are to be solved in 2017.

Jin Weiliang pointed out that the year of 2016 is the new beginning of the “13th Five-Year”, which happened to be the 15 anniversary of NIT. With a celebration of the happy event, NIT further clarified the future road to be chosen and the measures to be taken. In the next few years, under the background of the cooperation between NIT and the city of Ningbo, NIT should seize the opportunity of cooperation and build a high-level college focusing on application with regional characteristics. He asked all the departments to make plans within a week to ensure that the work would be implemented.
Fei Yingqin, Party secretary of NIT, presided over the meeting. NIT leaders, all middle-level cadres, all professors and directors of institutes attended the meeting.
