On March 10th, 2017, the Charity Fund Raising Ceremony was held at the conference room NF103. At the ceremony, Zhou Shuhong, Director of Department of Student Affairs introduced the overall situation of the Love Charity, and announced the list of the Messengers of Love. The Charity has received a fund of 143414.3 yuan. Over the past twelve years, the Charity has helped 23 students in 2016.

Yu Yingying, a student from the School of Business, gave a speech as a Messenger of Love. She is also a member of the Love Charity Management Committee. She said that she witnessed a lot of moving things, and hoped that she could do better in the future.
Huang Guangjie, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of NIT, made a passionate speech towards the end of the ceremony. He expressed his wishes that the Charity would help more students in need and NIT would be a place full of love.
