On the afternoon of March 22nd, 2017, Sun Junst, a distinguished academician from Chinese Academy of Sciences was invited to give a speech at Ningbo Institute of Technology, Zhejiang University, which was one of the series of lectures of “Sanjiang forum”.Sun Jun gave a speech entitled “Science, Future and Life” and shared his own life experiences with NIT students and teachers.

Professor Jin Weiliang, President of NIT spoke highly of Sun Jun’s academic achievements  in China’s geotechnical mechanics, tunnel and underground engineering. He expressed his heartfelt thanks to Sun Jun for his visit to NIT. Sun is 92 years old and is still “fighting” in the forefront of scientific research.
