Between April 15 and Aprial, 2017, NIT team won the fifth palce in Zhejiang University 120 Anniversary Celebration Table Tennis Competition after fierce fighting. This competition was held in Shao Yinfu Stadium, Yuquan Campus and is one of the activities to welcome the coming 120 anniversary celebration of ZhejiangUniversity. The students, staff of ZhejiangUniversity as well as alumni were invited to attend the competition. Students, faculty and alumni were free to form teams and altogether 36 teams participated.

The NIT team is composed of one alumnus, Zhu Feng and two teachers, Qian Xiaohua and Sun Qian. In two days’ intense competition, they defeated the Huzhou team at 3:0 and won the fifth place.
The competition is not just for cmpeting, but aims to promote interaction between alumni of ZhejiangUniversity.
