On the morning of April 8, 2017, Graduate Recruitment Fair 2017, which was sponsored by Ningbo Talent Market and Ningbo Institute of technology, Zhejiang University was held at NIT. 180 companies and institutes attended the fait to provide about 1500 job vacancies.

In spite of its medium size, it still attracted a large number of graduates to come, which included not only the students of NIT, but also those from the other universities and colleges. In addition to graduates, there were sophomores and junior students.

When interviewing a junior majoring in Business English Junior, Pan Shu, he said, “When I was a sophomore, I went to a job fair to look into the situation. This time I’m going to find an opportunity to be an intern at a company.” When asked why he wanted to be an intern at his third year, he said that it was their career guidance teacher encouraged them to do so. He hoped to have some working experience as earlier as possible.

Previous reports revealed that companies were more likely to extend their olive branches to those who have a plan of their careers.
