On the afternoon of April 23, 2017, the publishing ceremony of White Book for Reading at NIT 2016 was held on the first floor of the NIT library. Professor Pang Chaoyi, Dean of the School of Big Data, Professor Zhao Jihai, Director of the NIT library and the students from several schools participated in the ceremony.

In honor of the World Book and Copyright Day, the Institute of Smart Youth finished this book with the help of the library. On behalf of the Institute, Yao Minjia interpreted the statistics in the white book in order to make the book better understood. After that, Professor Zhao Jihai made a speech on behalf of the NIT library, hoping that they would further cooperate with the Institute of Smart Youth and make full use of the in-depth study on big data analysis. He expressed his wish that more students will love reading in the future.
