The reception on the occasion of May 3rd Constitution Day took place on May 5th, 2017 in the Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai. Among the invited guests were representatives of the Chinese local authorities, businessmen, representatives of the media, education and culture, and members of the diplomatic corps. Professor Wang Xiaolu, Dean of the School of Foreign Language Studies, and Cheng Meng, Vice Director of FAO were invited to participate this grand celebration by Consulate General of the Republic of Poland in Shanghai. NIT was the only university in Ningbo in this reception.

Since 2014, NIT has established relationship with the University of Warsaw, Jagiellonian University and Bocinanmicikai’s University. It is reported that this summer there will be 23 Poland teachers and students on a tour to NIT for an exchange project, and that 60 students from the School of Foreign Language Studies and the School of Media and Design at NIT will be on a tour to two universities in Poland foe exchange as well.
This is the 53th anniversary of the Republic of Poland. This Constitution of Poland was passed in 1791, which is the first constitution in Europe and the second constitution in the world.
