HU Xuyang, Deputy Head of Organization Department of Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee attended a symposium during a visit to NingboTech on August 6th to learn about the latest operation and development of the university. HU Zhengyu, the school Party Secretary, and YANG Deren, the school President, reported on the relevant situations respectively during the symposium, which was also attended by Deputy Party Secretary FENG Jianbo, Vice Presidents ZHANG Xianmin, LU Dongming and YANG Canjun.

President YANG began the symposium by analyzing both the internal and external conditions needed for the school to be among top 100 in China. He then introduced policies and measures to be employed in the future for personnel training, talent attraction, discipline development, services for scientific researches, internationalization of education and governance efficiency. Party Secretary HU elaborated on school’s explorations in talent and resource sharing.

Hearing the two reports, Deputy Head HU suggested that the school should improve itself by combining its own development with the regional strategies and industrial needs, as well as seeking support from various channels and platforms. He also hoped that the school, by taking full advantage of internal and external conditions, could one day turn itself into a name card showcasing the rapid city development.
