Government officials led by DU Yonghua, Deputy Director of Ningbo Big Data Bureau, visited the joint lab for information innovation and attended the subsequent symposium on September 17th. Representatives from corporate partners including Loongson, Sugon, DCITS and Baoxing Smart as well as persons-in-charge of the joint lab also took part in the symposium, during which ways to deepen university-enterprise cooperation and to cultivate talents were discussed.

Government officials led by DU visited lab facilities including the software adaptation and transfer room, hardware adaptation room, information innovation R&D room and simulation exhibition room. In the subsequent symposium, DU fully acknowledged the role played by the joint lab in personnel cultivation and adaptation and transfer service and hoped that the joint lab could introduce more cutting-edge products and services and channel more information innovation talents for industries like regional big data, cloud computing and Internet of Things.

LU Dongming, Vice President of NingboTech, who warmly received visitors, pointed out that the joint lab, keeping abreast with the national strategy of information security, was committed to exploring new modes of personnel training in collaboration with leading domestic enterprises in information innovation, and that the university would try to retain as many talents as possible with the support and help from Zhejiang University so that they could make greater contribution to the city development.
