ZHANG Wenyao, a 2016 NingboTech alumnus, was included in the list of University Role Models in Employment and Entrepreneurship recently released by China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center.

The inclusion of ZHANG is just another example of how NingboTech has attached great importance to helping students land a job or start up their own companies. Over 7.5% of graduates have started up a company three years after graduation, which is way above the national average, according to Mycos, a third-party data gathering and analysis company. ZHANG is currently the General Manager of Zhejiang Aijie Sports Co., Ltd. The company, with nearly 300 staff members and registering 210 million yuan (30 million dollars) in output value in 2019, has directly helped over 1,000 people land a job. With subsidiaries in Beijing, central China’s Hubei Province and southwestern China’s Sichuan Province, the company has served over 3,000 gyms nationwide and inspired 600,000 people to do sports.
