A cooperation agreement between NingboTech and Intermediate People’s Court of Ningbo was reached during a signing ceremony on December 26.

According to the agreement, both parties would co-establish platforms for educational training, hands-on skill teaching as well as theoretical research cooperation. Mr. HUANG Guangjie, Party Committee member of the university, addressed attendees on behalf of the university, during which he pointed out that since a cultivation system for legal professionals entailed efforts from all sectors of society, two sides should join hands in exploring new mechanisms for talent cultivation, new channels for academic exchanges and new modes for future cooperation.

Six professors from the School of Media and Law were appointed members of the first advisory committee of experts under Intermediate People's Court of Ningbo. During the subsequent academic exchange session, Associate Professor DONG Yupeng delivered a key-note speech.

The cooperation between NingboTech and Intermediate People's Court of Ningbo, as two important champions of and contributors to the establishment of a law-based country, is another attempt to promote rule of law and achieve highly complementary and mutually beneficial results.
