“Preparation of thiol-functionalized nano-Fe3O4-polymer magnetic composite and its adsorption properties on methylene blue in water”,an academic paper published in the journal ofActa Materiae Compositae Sinica, was recently included in Frontrunner 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journals of China. The first author of the paper is CEHN Junliang, a chemical engineering and technology majorof NingboTech.
The paper,jointly finished by three students of CHEN Junliang, YAO Tupeng and ZHU Hongliang under the guidance of Professor SHEN Haoyu, was officially published in April 2014. The three students, actively engaged in academic research during their four years of college life, had published five papers, applied for two national invention patents and won various awards.
The platform of Frontrunner 5000—Top Articles in Outstanding S&T Journals of China (F5000) was established by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China to showcase outstanding domestic papers. Since its establishment, it has greatly improved the quality of and enhanced influence of China’s outstanding academic journals.
Acta Materiae Compositae Sinica, founded in 1984 by Beihang University and Chinese Society for Composite Materials and indexed by EI, is one of China’s core S&T journals. It mainly publishes Chinese papers with innovative and high-level research results of great significance in the basic and applied research of composite materials. In 2017, it was once again selected as “China’s Quality S&T Journal” by the Institute of Scientific and Technical Information of China after having had the honor one year earlier.
