Under the guidance of LAN Zhendong and HE Binghua, two teachers of Business School, the team consisting of four students won the second prize in the second National Supply Chain Competition, which came to an end on June 20th in Changsha, capital of central China's Hunan Province.

Hosted by China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, the competition has attracted 1,338 teams (including 604 undergraduate teams) from 547 colleges and universities in 29 provinces and municipalities. A total of 122 teams advanced to the national final after fierce competition.

Centered around the supply chain operation and management, the competition asked contestants to simulate the complete supply chain of a virtual company and conduct market, client and supplier analysis. Participating teams were required to formulate a detailed plan based on data provided by the organizer and defend it in front of judging panels.
