All five NingboTech teams won prizes in the 2021 Ningbo Teaching Innovation Competition for College Teachers, according to the results unveiled by Ningbo Education Bureau on July 27th. The team led by XU Xiaowei of the School of Computing and Data Engineering took the second prize, and the other four teams, led by CHEN Dan of the School of Media and Law, HU Sheng of the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering, RAN Shiya of the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering and WU Chengyu of the School of Information Science and Engineering respectively, won the third prize. The impressive results couldn't have been possible without teachers' careful preparation and elaborate organizing efforts made by the university's Center for Teacher Development.

The competition, with its theme "Innovating classroom teaching and deepening teaching reforms", is aimed at making classroom learning more effective and improving curriculum quality by integrating the internet into the teaching process. It's expected that teachers would focus more on teaching innovation and devote themselves to education.

Four first prizes, seven second prizes and 13 third prizes were selected out of a total of 36 entries after the online preliminary and off-line final.
