The NingboTech delegation led by YANG Canjun, Vice President of the university, visited Boway Group in a bid to better contribute to local development and strengthen cooperation with businesses, especially leading ones. The delegation was warmly greeted by company officials including Vice President GAO Guijuan, Deputy General Manager MA Zhengfei and MENG Xiangpeng, Director of the R&D Center.

The delegation was briefed on the company's industrial planning, personnel training, R&D achievements and patents by Vice President GAO Guijuan in the company's exhibition hall.

In the subsequent meeting, department heads reported on digital R&D platforms and digital intelligent manufacturing, and the university representatives exchanged their views on digitization, new material, intelligent manufacturing, corporate management, etc. YANG Canjun suggested that the two sides should carry out extensive cooperation in scientific research, social service, and professionals training.

At the end of the visit, NingboTech representatives were shown around the group's digital workshop, where they were amazed by its AOI-enabled product quality monitoring system capable of detecting defects as little as 0.1 mm.
