NingboTech University and Medicalsystem Biotechnology Co., Ltd. signed a cooperation agreement and launched an education fund during the ceremony held on September 24th. HU Zhengyu, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of NingboTech University, LU Dongming, Vice President of the university, and ZOU Jihua, General Manager of the company, attended the event.
Addressing the ceremony, HU Zhengyu noted that it was of special significance that the two sides started new cooperation on September 24, for that date marked the university's 20th anniversary. He hoped that in the future, the two sides could tap their respective advantages and make progress in the training of teachers and students, scientific research and personnel cooperation, and that joint efforts could be made to create high-level academic achievements and actively promote the transformation and application of those innovative achievements. It's also expected that cooperation could be carried out in the establishment of an industry-university integrated base, promotion of lab resources sharing and further improvement of majors, courses and textbooks.
ZOU Jihua looked forward to future cooperation and noted that the university has made remarkable progress in student training and technological innovation in the past 20 years. As an alumnus of Zhejiang University, he hoped to support educational development by setting up the fund.
The Medicalsystem Award for Young Talents and the Medicalsystem Award for Outstanding Talents were set up to recognize the hard work of outstanding young researchers of the university. It's expected that they could be incentivized to be more committed to scientific research and pay back to society.
Medicalsystem Biotechnology Co., Ltd. is a well-known listed high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, production, sales and service of medical diagnostic products. Since 2012, the company has carried out active cooperation with the School of Biological and Chemical Engineering in student internships and training and application for major projects.
