Hosted by the People's Government of Jiangxi Province and 12 central ministries and commissions including the Ministry of Education, the final of the 7th China International College Students' 'Internet+' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition was held in Nanchang University between October 12th and 15th. Vice-Premier SUN Chunlan attended the event.
NingboTech contestants took home one gold, one silver and one bronze awards after intense competition, the best result ever achieved by the university. The impressive achievement couldn't have been possible without the university's huge support, instructors' patient guidance and students' careful preparation.
The competition attracted 9.56 million students from 4,347 universities and colleges from 121 countries and regions, who submitted a total of 2.28 million projects. Initiated by Premier LI Keqiang back in 2015, the competition is a major innovation-centered event hosted by provincial governments and 12 central ministries and commissions.
The competition is aimed at deepening higher education reform by encouraging creativity, promoting mass entrepreneurship and innovation and facilitating economic development and upgrading.
