To deepen all-round cooperation, NinbogTech University and the Education Bureau of Yinzhou District signed a cooperation agreement on October 22nd. HU Zhengyu and LI Fengwang, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of NingboTech University, WANG Jianping, Director of the Education Bureau of Yinzhou District, YANG Feihua, Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the Education Bureau of Yinzhou District, Zhang Jianfeng and WANG Yaohe, Deputy Directors of the Bureau, and other representatives attended the event. The ceremony was presided over by LI Ping, head of Regional Cooperation Office.

WANG Jianping briefed the attendees on the development of the basic education in the district and noted that the cooperation between NingboTech and well-established high schools, primary schools and kindergartens would greatly facilitate local economic development and the university's own development as well by giving full play to advantages of higher education in Ningbo. The cooperation is also expected to promote the training of outstanding teachers and resource sharing.

LI Fengwang expressed gratitude to the Bureau for its care and support. The university, located in Ningbo and dependent on Zhejiang University, hopes to make greater contribution to Ningbo's socio-economic development by strengthening cooperation with the city and Yinzhou District. Resources would be made full use of to achieve win-win results.

The signing of the agreement is another major step forward since the signing of the comprehensive strategic cooperation agreement with People's Government of Yinzhou District. The two sides will further their cooperation in areas like resource sharing and teacher training for win-win results.
