President YANG Deren, Vice Presidents LU Dongming and YANG Canjun, and TAN Jian, Chief Scientist of the university's discipline group "Smart Port and Service", visited Ningbo Science and Technology Bureau on November 10th, where they were given a warm reception by Director FEI Xiaochen and Deputy Director CHEN Shanfu.

YANG gave a brief introduction to the university and expressed gratitude to the bureau for its long-time support to the university's student training and discipline construction. He hoped that the two sides could strengthen ties and communication as NingboTech is striving to build itself into a first-class application-oriented university guided by the philosophy of "taking root in Ningbo with the support of Zhejiang University and a global vision" and to contribute to the local economic development.

FENG Xiaochen welcomed the delegation and noted that the bureau shoulders the responsibility to support discipline construction of universities and colleges in Ningbo. He wished that the university could make intellectual contribution to Ningbo's discipline construction and capacity building by fully leveraging its advantages and accommodating the local needs.
