To promote the business-university integration and train application-oriented students of high quality, the NingboTech delegation led by Vice President LU Dongming visited Ningbo Jintian Copper (Group) Co., Ltd., during which the two sides had in-depth discussions about how to train innovative talents and help students find jobs or start their own businesses.

Accompanied by LOU Cheng, President of the company, the NingboTech delegation visited the company's intelligent workshops, where they had a deeper understanding of the performance, technological process and market application of the company's major products, as well as its digital workshops and 5G+ smart factory.

The two sides then discussed how to further promote the business-university integration. President LOU first expressed his gratitude to the university for being a source of talented persons for the company, and elaborated on the company's corporate culture, business operation and advanced management concepts. He also clearly stated what he thought was required of a competent employee while emphasizing the importance of thinking and studying independently. For his part, Vice President LU thanked the company for providing such a beneficial platform for students to fulfill their potential, and noted that he was pleased to see NingboTech alumni have been appointed middle-ranking officials. He then gave a detailed introduction to the history and goals of the university. Keeping in mind the ultimate goal of training high-quality application-oriented and innovative talents, the university is currently planning to set up industrial colleges so as to better serve the city's development.
