To better facilitate business-university integration and serve Ningbo as it endeavors to build itself into a modern coastal metropolis, HU Zhengyu, secretary of the Communist Party Committee of NingboTech, together with officials and teachers of the university's Business School and Ningbo Managers' College, visited Ningbo Future Houseware Co., Ltd., where they were accorded a cordial reception by Chairman LI Chen and General Manager CAI Hui.
The visitors were shown around the office building and showrooms by company officials. The two sides then had an in-depth discussion about issues like closer scientific and technological cooperation, product R&D and professionals training.
HU Zhengyu mentioned that the university, committed to training application-oriented and innovative professionals, is advancing the establishment of the industry college, a move that combines discipline development with Ningbo's industrial growth. He hoped that the two sides could strengthen ties and carry out all-round and multi-level cooperation. LI Chen gave a brief introduction to the company and its future plans, and hoped that through win-win cooperation enabled by this meeting, human resource and discipline advantages boasted by colleges and universities could be further leveraged and that the company could be more innovative and competitive.
HU Zhengyu and WU Qiong, deputy secretary of the Communist Party Committee of Business School, also visited NingboTech alumni working at the company after the meeting. The university aims to set up more platforms for closer communication with the graduates and facilitate their career and the university's own development as well.
