Prof. XIAO Wen, Qixin Distinguished Professor of NingboTech and head of Zhejiang Institute of Contemporary International Studies, attended the study session of the Institute on May 28.

Prof. XIAO noted that faced with great changes in the international landscape and consequently new tasks in international studies, the Institute must, with a strong sense of responsibility and following the trend of the times, make every effort to give answers to questions like "what happens to today's world" and "where the mankind is heading". In addition, it's the Institute's responsibility to introduce the world to China's development path, governance and, philosophy and tell good stories about China and the Communist Party of China. Meanwhile, it should contribute its wisdom to Zhejiang's development. She urged the members, who are mostly college teachers, to devote themselves to teaching wholeheartedly.
