A disciplinary and major system has been set up with a focus on engineering and coordinated development of science, liberal arts, law, economics and management. Currently we have one first-class undergraduate major at the national level, six at the provincial level, one international scientific and technological cooperation base under the Ministry of Science and Technology, one regional and national research base under the Ministry of Education, one R&D and service center under the State Oceanic Administration, etc. We offer graduate programs on the strength of Zhejiang University, and has established Ningbo post-doctoral programs. More than 300 Ph.D candidates and graduate students are currently studying and researching here.
