Officials of Ningbo Jiufeng Electric Appliance Co., Ltd. including General Manager ZHANG Shiyong and Deputy General Managers LOU Xinqian and ZHU Zhijun visited the School of Design for discussions and company presentation and promotion on December 28th. School officials including WU Chun and YE Weishu, Secretary and Deputy Secretary of the Communist Party Committee of the School of Design, Deputy Dean ZHAO Jianguo and ZHANG Feng, assistant to the dean, as well as dozens of teacher and student representatives attended the event.

WU Chun extended a warm welcome to the visitors and gave a brief introduction to the university and the School. ZHAO Jianguo introduced the School's disciplines, majors and projects that are underway. He hoped that the two sides could carry out cooperation in industrial design, environmental design, art design and architectural design by fully leveraging their comparative advantages.

The company's HR Director introduced its job vacancies, remuneration, perks and promotion policies and hoped that students could join this young and promising enterprise. General Manager ZHANG Shiyong further elaborated on its history, appraisal policies, incentives, products and R&D plans.

School officials encouraged the students to learn more about the company, pay more attention to industrial prospects and trends and constantly hone their skills as well.

The two sides also had discussions about product R&D, design empowerment, digital factory, etc. as they tried to explore new ways of university-business cooperation.
