NingboTech students clinched one gold and one silver in the 4th Zhejiang Rural Revitalization Creation Competition for College Students as the results were unveiled on November 28th.

The competition was sponsored by the Chinese Society for Urban Studies, the Department of Education of Zhejiang Province, the Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs of Zhejiang Province, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Zhejiang Province, China Construction Bank Zhejiang Branch and Zhejiang Committee of Science and Technology Competitions for College Students, and organized by the People's Government of Huanghu Town, Hangzhou, Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics and Tourism College of Zhejiang under the guidance of Health Tourism Chapter of China Tourism Association. The two teams sent by NingboTech stood head and shoulders above the rest in the fierce competition.

The competition, the most prestigious and influential one focusing on how universities can contribute to the rural revitalization, aims to create a Zhejiang model which brings together governments, universities, companies and villages. Since its launch on May 18th, 18,158 contestants in 2,589 teams from 86 colleges and universities of Zhejiang Province took part in the event.

The impressive results serve as an impetus for NingboTech faculty and students to further contribute their strength and wisdom to the rural revitalization.
